Unleash your superpower to end slavery

Building Community & Global Action: Guest Speaker Amelia Stansell

Looking for a way to turn your passion into tangible action? Join the Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui in Makawao for an engaging evening meeting focused on local service, global leadership, and community connection.

We are honored to feature guest speaker Amelia Stansell, Past District Governor for Rotary District 7610 (Virginia), Vice Chair of the Rotary Action Group Against Slavery (RAGAS) Global Board of Directors, and owner of Unstoppable Futures.

In 2018, Amelia co-founded the Fauquier Anti Sex Trafficking Alliance (FASTA) to protect communities through awareness, prevention education, and survivor support. Partnering with organizations like the FBI, Homeland Security, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, she leads vital Community Conversations on human trafficking prevention. Join us to hear her insights on how grassroots education and global Rotary networks come together to protect our communities.

As part of Rotary District 5000 and a 1.4-million-member global family, our small but mighty club of 10 proves every day that local heart drives global impact. Partnering with fellow Rotarians across Maui and around the world, we bring big ideas to life right here in our own backyard.
